Auli (2800 meter above MSL), the popular ski destination of India, has rose to a lot of prominence over the last decade. It also happens to be the venue of the First South Asian Winter Games in 2011. In fact, Auli ranks as one of the best skiing destinations of the country. Apart from skiing as well, Auli has been able to carve out a niche in becoming a famous hill station of Uttarakhand among family vacationers.

The two main attractions of the place are the Joshimath-Auli cable car and the Gorson Bugyal trek. In this 4-day tour package tourists will be taken to the cable car site on Day 2 from where one may opt for this exciting ride. On the same day you will also be able to witness the pristine and clean Auli lake. The trek to Gorson Bugyal will be arranged on Day 3.

Trek to Gorson Bugyal can be an exciting experience, even if trekkers are going with their family. The trek goes through the dense forest of Oak and Deodar trees, gives one an opportunity witness a variety of flora and fauna along with the chance to understand the village life. This is one of the few treks in India which can be enjoyed through out the year. 

This package includes cab transfers from Haridwar to Joshimath and back. During the course of this picturesque 11-hour journey (one way) some significant places will be passed by including Rishikesh, Devprayag and Rudraprayag. When it comes to meals, the package includes a total of three breakfasts and three dinners. Accommodation for three nights is provided in a comfortable and clean property at Joshimath.

  • Day 1 - Transfer from Haridwar to Joshimath | Check In to Hotel

    Pick up from Haridwar at around 8:00 AM

    Travel towards Joshimath (around 13 km away from Auli) while passing by Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag

    Arrive at Joshimath at around 7:00 PM

    Check in to the assigned hotel and freshen up

    Have dinner at night

    Overnight stay at Joshimath

  • Day 2 - Auli Sightseeing - Cable Car and Auli Lake

    Wake up early

    Have breakfast and leave hotel for sightseeing of Auli (2800 meter above MSL)

    Drive towards Auli ropeway and also visit Auli lake

    Spend time admiring the gorgeous nature around

    Return to hotel by evening time

    Have dinner at night

    Overnight stay at Joshimath

  • Day 3 - Gorson Bugyal Trek

    Wake up early and have breakfast

    Transfer to the start point of the Gorson Bugyal

    Enjoy the 6 km (to and fro) trek through the forests with the stunning view

    Drop to hotel after the trek

    Enjoy local sightseeing

    Have dinner at night

  • Day 4 - Check Out from Hotel | Return to Haridwar

    Travel downhill towards Haridwar
