Forest Camping In Munnar Overview

About the activity :

  • Munnar is the ideal place for you to spend an exciting weekend getaway with your friends and all your family members! 
  • On your next weekend, head for an exciting forest camping experience in Munnar with your friends and family! 
  • Experience the thrill of staying a full night in the forest of the Chokkarmudi Hills with a relaxing campfire, soothing music, a comfortable tent to sleep in and delicious food.  
  • Guests will be taken to the forest in the evening by jeep.  While here you will get to see the panoramic night view of Idukki district from the camp site. 
  • A warm and comforting campfire will be available with music. You will be served a delicious dinner at the camp site.  
  • There is a washroom facility available in the camp site.  Tents will be provided to sleep in with a thermocol bed, blanket and pillow.  
  • In the morning, black tea will be served, before you check out from the camp around 08:00AM. Experience the tranquil and peaceful environs of Munnar and gaze at the beautiful stars on your wonderful stay here!

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, no cancellation fees will be applicable.

  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

    Simply Amazing. If you love adventures , this is a must try. There's Jeep safari, off-roading through the tea estates, Fog covering the way when you reach the top, Mesmerizing view, Quechua Tents, Tasty food, Campfire, 2 km trek to the top of the mountain and last but definitely not the least breathtaking sunrise and feel of heaven on the top. The team organizing this is super helpful and super friendly. Had some difficulties contacting the vendor in the beginning but once we met things went super smooth and the team at the top (Oscar and team) definitely deserves an applause.P.S.: Don't miss the Sunrise from the top of the mountain for which one has to trek for 2KMS.

    Firstly, I'd like to mention how we were pleasantly surprised by how good the service is. You wouldn't believe it if you haven't been there. The three guys assisting us were very considerate. We were just two girls on the highest peak in Munnar town and we felt safe. They were really nice to us. They helped us set up a tent and there was bonfire. Inspite of drizzling we could enjoy the camping experience because there was a tent above set up to protect from the rain.About the food; If you're a non vegetarian, you're in for a treat. They barbecued chicken in front of us and it was delicious! Vegetarian food is decent too.Also, they took pictures of us in the morning afterward with the tent and jeep. I
