Duke's Nose Camping & Trekking Overview

Location: Karjat

Getting the name from Duke of Wellington, whose nose resembled the shape of the cliff, Duke's Nose is famous for hiking and is a picturesque location. Covered with prominent trees and owning serene ambience, the destination will allow you to disconnect from the hustle of the city life and connect with the beauty of nature. Cool surroundings and views of clear skies make it an ideal destination for all the adventure lovers.

Stay in camps at the site and be able to gaze the beauty that surroundings are home to. You would be able to nurture the adorable views and marvel at the clear skies with a million stars on display. Each tent is on a sharing basis and shared between two to three people depending upon the availability. At the site, there are clean and hygienic common washrooms to b used by all the visitors.

Duke's Nose Camping & Trekking package allows you to engage in several fun-filled activities. Avail adrenaline rushing activity named rappelling and climb the surface with utmost safety. There is a bonfire for all the guests in the evening. You would be able to share interesting stories you have with other travellers and listen to the stories they have for you. Travelling from Lonavala Station to the Base camp and returning back from the base camp to Lonavala station is included in the package as well.

Includes lunch, dinner and breakfast to be served at 1:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 9:00 AM respectively. Enjoy activities and comfortable stay with this package.

How To Reach:
This location is approximately 20 km away from the centre of Karjat and 82 km away from Mumbai. You can easily reach by public or private transport.

Note:
Infants under the age of 5 years can join for free.
Minimum 2 people are required to book the package.

  • Day 1 - Since you have booked the day out, you are free to do what you want but a guideline DIY itinerary can be as follows:

    7:30 PM: meeting at Lonavala station

    9:00 PM: Reach to the Base Village & have Dinner.

    10:00 PM: After Dinner Start the trek to Hill’s top

    10:50 PM: Night Stay in the Tent & Campfire

  • Day 2 - Duke's Nose Camping & Trekking

    6:00 AM: Wake up early morning and finish morning refreshments

    7:00 AM: Rappelling event

    1:00 PM: Move from base camp towards Lonavala

    2:00 PM: Lunch at Base Camp

    3:30 PM: After Lunch Move towards to Lonavala

    4:00 PM: Reach to Lonavala Station

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
