Dooars or Duars is the foothill of the eastern Himalayas and the region forms the gateway to Bhutan from India. The area is covered with dense forest which makes it a place to relax in the lap of nature. Innumerable streams and rivers flow through the fertile plains from the mountains of Bhutan. 

The sightseeing tour offers an amazing experience to discover the best of the hill town. The tour will be starting at 9 AM with a pick up from the hotel in dooars in a comfortable car with an experienced driver having a plethora of ancient stories and facts about the places. At a halt at lunch time in small eateries and shops along the main road that goes through Rocky Island all the way to Samsing. Don't forget to enjoy different flavours of veg & non veg momos. 

Attractions covered : 

Bindu - It is the last village on the Indian side bordering Bhutan, known for its beautiful landscape with Jaldhaka River, beautiful tea gardens, high forests & river valleys.

Jhalong - Small village situated on the banks of river Jaldhaka, near India-Bhutan border. It is very popular among adventure enthusiasts and those who are interested in nature vacations. Bird lovers can enjoy a varied collection of hill Birds including Kingfisher, Brown Dipper, Redstart, Laughing Thrush as well as migratory waterfowl here.

Dalgaon viewpoint via Chapramari Forest - Take the view all along the way with the lush green hills of Bhutan stretched across the horizon. Below the plains flows the Dechu river from Bhutan that becomes the Jaldhaka at Bindu, when it enters India.

Rocky Island - A place to get the best view of murti river. There are lots of rocks on the river and along the banks. In fact some of these rocks are so large that adventure enthusiasts have an opportunity to do rock climbing here. There are also caverns to explore.

Samsing - Endowed with pictorial landscapes, lush green tea gardens, doting hills & dense forests. The place has an aura of peace & serenity. 

Suntalekhola - Suntaley means orange and khola means stream. A place with scenic green nature, mountain streams & view of bhutan hills. A home of varieties of butterflies & birds. 

Laliguras View Point - A popular picnic spot because of its beautiful valley view & Murti river flowing through the bed of rocks and mountains towering from its banks.
