Chiang Mai Cycling Tour Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Arrive at Chiang Mai

  Arrive at Chiang Mai at any time where the driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your comfortable hotel.

• Day 2 -

  Explore Chiang Mai City by Bike

  Meet your guide at your hotel.

  After an introductory chat over a traditional Chiang Mai breakfast of Kao Soi, visit the Chiang Mai Cultural Center for an introduction to the history and design of the city.

  Cycle your way around the city on the back streets visiting many beautiful temples, bustling markets and historic sites.

  The tour finishes with a visit to the fascinating Temple of the Silversmiths.

  Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

  Cycle for 15 KM.

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

• Day 3 -

  Cycle to Lamphun

  Start the exploration of the Chiang Mai countryside and an ancient forest meditation temple on the outskirts of the city.

  From there cycle along the foothills and into the Botanical Gardens.

  Continuing cycling towards Lamphun and learn about bees and beekeeping at the Bee Keeper Training center and stop for a bit of shopping at Ban Tawai.

  In the evening enjoy a walk around the old town for a mouth watering Thai meal.

  Overnight stay in Lamphun.

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

  Today's cycling will cover 53 KM in total.

• Day 4 -

  Cycle to Mae On

  Passing by the old train depot strike out across the countryside heading towards the mountains.

  Ride through the rice paddies and farms and passing thel villages with quiet Buddhist Temples.

  Stop along the way to have a chat and some refreshments with the villagers, then Hot Springs await at the end of the day to celebrate the completion of our cycling.

  From there get a transfer by the van to a lodge in the mountains for a evening along a gurgling stream.

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

  47 KM is the total distance you would be cycling today.

• Day 5 -

  Flight of the Gibbon and Return to Chiang Mai

  After breakfast drive up to the mountain to the village of Mae Kampong for the 'Flight of the Gibbon' zip line, where you will spend the morning flying among the tree tops as a Gibbon would.

  After lunch, transfer back to Chiang Mai.

  The journey ends upon our return to Chiang Mai.
