Matheran, a small hill station based in the Sahyadri range on the Western Ghats is blessed with mesmerizing views and serenity. Charlotte Lake is one of the most spectacular attractions of Matheran. The origin of the lake is a dam, which overflows when it rains in the monsoon and forms a pristine little waterfall. A visit to Matheran is incomplete without witnessing the tranquil beauty of Lake Charlotte.

Charlotte Lake is an ideal quick retreat for those who seek silence in the lap of nature, it is also a perfect spot for the camping due to its beautiful location and for the believers of Lord Shiva, the lake also has an archaic temple - Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir.

Located about 90 km from Mumbai and 120 km from Pune, Charlotte Lake Matheran Camping is the perfect place for all the nature lovers and adventure seekers. The fun and adventure-filled experience begins with a small trek from Dasturi Naka to the campsite near Charlotte Lake. The meeting time at Dasturi Naka will be around 2 PM Post the trek, you check-in at the campsite at around 3:00 PM and that will be the beginning of your camping experience.

The experience includes staying, meals with BBQ and fun filled activities like bonfire/campfire, music and a night trek to the nearby jungle. Your tents at the campsite will be equipped with tent lights and comfortable mats and pillows to sleep so that you can retire comfortably at night. The next morning you will be served your breakfast with tea followed by your checkout from the campsite and a trek down to Dasturi Naka. By 11:00 AM, you will be back at the meetup point with memories you will cherish forever.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
