Trekking And Camping In Mussoorie Overview

Location: Hathipaon, Mussoorie

One of Mussoorie's best destinations is Top Station, a 6,700m above-sea-level site that gives breathtaking views of the mountain ranges & forests. This place is packed with tons of attractions which makes it an ideal spot for a weekend adventure. Spend a night under an open sky and gaze at the glimmering beauty of the vast cosmos from the comfortable tents. 

The journey will begin from the meet up point where the trek to the campsite will start. The trek is 15 minutes through a meandering jungle road that will be an experience in itself. Reach at the campsite & take time to rest, unwind, and get rejuvenated with nature. After enjoying the surrounding wilderness, freshly cooked lunch will be served. Proceed further to experience the picturesque 4 km trek to Jwala devi Temple on the top of Benog Hill. Enjoy the calmness and peace with an enchanting view of the Himalayas, Yamuna Valley and Doon Valley. The trek is specially designed for the beginners. 

In the evening, relax with nature or pump up the adrenaline with a professional guide of adventurous activities like Burma Bridge, Monkey Crawl, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Tyrolean Traverse and Dry River Crossing. Bird-watching enthusiasts can also treat themselves to the sights with mouthwatering snacks. No need to hurry, take all the time and soak into the beautiful wild surroundings followed by dinner & bonfire with light music. 

Next day after breakfast experience an early morning nature walk to George Everest, a 60 min trek from the campsite with a limitless breeze of fresh air and harmonious songs from the native birds. Get back to Mussoorie with beautiful memories.

Campsite is located at a distance of 7 km from Mall road & Camel's Back Road. The nearest airport is Dehradun Airport, 48 km one can easily get a private cab, auto or taxi service.

It was a perfect place to be at to relax and calm your mind in the soothing nature all around. Campsite owner was a nice guy as he never got frustrated with whatever we asked for. Washrooms were clean and food served was also good. Loved it.

    Amazing camp site right in the rich green deodar forest. The campsite has neat and clean tents and toilets. The mornings and evenings are wonderful and you can actually listen to birds chirping. Food is so delicious and Staff are really very helpful. Thanks for such an amazing experience.
