Your Botswana honeymoon safari is going to be an experience that is incredible and incomparable with any other holidays you have ever taken. You and your newly wed will be staying within the Chobe National Park in the Chobe Game Reserve which is the only permanent game lodge in the Park. The Park is famous for large herds of elephants, lions, antelopes, hippos and many other amazing wildlife of Botswana.

  • In between exciting game drives, boat safaris, cruise safaris, you can also indulge in relaxing spa therapies with your loved one or relax with a refreshing dip at the pool.
  • The honeymoon package also includes a two day stay at Camp Moremi at Okavango Delta. This amazing campsite is right on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon.
  • Camp Moremi has luxury tents to ensure you do not compromise on basic comforts while you are living the most adventurous holidays you have ever taken.
  • Okavango Delta is an amazing destination where you can view an amazing array of wildlife and exotic bird species.

Botswana Honeymoon Safari Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive at Kasane; Transfer to Chobe National Park
  • Today marks the beginning of a memorable journey with the Botswana honeymoon safari. 
  • Arrive at Botswana’s Kasane Airport where you will be met by our representative. 
  • From the Airport you will be taken to Chobe National Park where you will be staying in the Chobe Game Lodge.
  • This is the only permanent game lodge within the Park.
  • Activities included while you are at the Lodge are morning and evening game drives, boat safaris, and cruises. 
  • In the afternoons, you can indulge in a relaxing spa treatment at the in-house Spa at the Lodge or relax by the pool.
Day 2
Stay and Activities at the Chobe National Park
  • Begin your day with an early morning game drive. 
  • On returning indulge in a traditional breakfast and then head out to other activities planned for the day. 
  • Indulge in game drives, boat and cruise safaris where you can spend one of the most memorable moments of your Botswana honeymoon safari.
Day 3
Transfer to Okavango Delta
  • Today after breakfast you will be taken to Kasane Airport. From here you will be boarding a short flight to Xakanaxa airstrip. 
  • The duration of the flight is about an hour.
  • Once you land you will be taken to Camp Moremi. 
  • Camp Moremi is located within Botswana’s most renowned Moremi Game Reserve which is located on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon. 
  • This region is famous for offering spectacular opportunities for game viewing.
  • The amazing landscape of the Xakanaxa Lagoon will surely make your Botswana honeymoon safari one of the most memorable holidays that would last a lifetime.
Day 4
Moremi Game Reserve
  • Start your day with an exciting early morning game drive which also includes boat excursions. 
  • This Reserve is a great place to get a view of the leopards, herds of elephants, lions and many bird species native to this part of the world. 
  • The stay includes tent accommodations.
Day 5
Departure
  • Today marks the end of your adventurous Botswana honeymoon safari. 
  • After a delightful breakfast complete check-out formalities. 
  • From Camp Moreni you will be taken to the airstrip where you will be boarding a light aircraft to Maun Airport in time for you to board your onward flight.
  • This will mark an end to your trip.
