About the Activity:

  • Counted as one of the most visited tourist destinations on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jolly Buoy Island has enough in its store to amuse its visitors any time.
  • Remarkably appealing its turquoise waters and the surrounding greenery, pristine corals and long white sand beaches.
  • It is a part of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Here comes an ecstatic boat trip to enjoy the panoramic beauty of the island.
  • After getting picked up from your accommodation around 07:00 AM, and you will be dropped to Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex from where you will be going to Wandoor to enter the Mahatma Gandhi National Park by 08:30 AM.
  • Then visit Jolly Buoy Island which is quite renowned for its glass bottom boat rides. 
  • The vast reefs underwater, immersed in multi coloured corals, a captivating bottom scenery and the bluish green water on the surface will surely let you remain bewitched. Don't forget to indulge in an exhilarating snorkeling or swimming on the island.
  • Once you conclude the tour of Jolly Buoy Isalnd, return to Port Blair by 03:00 PM.
  • From Wandoor, you will be taken to Chidiyatapu after lunch around 03:30 PM. Chidiyatapu is the 'island of birds' with a mesmerising collection of multitudes of rare birds.
  • Here, the stunning sunset views will let your heart get stolen and by the end of the day, you will return to Port Blair around 06:30 PM.

    The boat ride along the blue water gave me goosebumps and my kids were so happy to spot each fish they see underwater. The colourful world of these marine animals made my and my family’s day. Then we went to see the beautiful Chidiyatapu beach. A good beach where you can spend a quality time chilling and relaxing.

    Being punctual is the biggest factor you have to remember, because the ferry timings are fixed and you should not miss the boat. What excited me most was the boat ride to the island. The natural greenery all around is mindblowing and the water is so calm. From the surface itself, you can see the fishes and coral reefs under the water and they are so colourful. I can suggest it as a must visit destination because nature in the pure form of it is not visible everywhere.

    I am a regular traveller and Andamans was one of the wishes i had. I fulfilled it last year. Jolly Island and Chidiyatapu are two tiny but beautiful islands with a lot of good things around. As a traveller, I found these places beautiful and I can blindly choose for another holiday package to Andamans once again.
