Bike Tour From Manali To Leh

Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Overnight journey to Manali

  Arrive Delhi Volvo station at 04:00 PM and board bus for Manali.

  Enjoy overnight drive in a Volvo bus.

  Travel for 560 kilometers that can take 12 hours.

• Day 2 -

  Arrive in Manali

  Arrive in Manali and then get transferred to the hotel

  Check in is at 12:00 noon but early check in is subjected to the availability of the rooms.

  Enjoy a short ride around Manali in the afternoon and spend night at hotel.

• Day 3 -

  Travel from Manali to Jispa

  After breakfast, start riding motorbike toward Jispa.

  Cross over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and enjoy the paths through the beautiful villages of Lahul Valley.

  Enjoy beautiful ride on the banks of Chadra and Bhaga river.

  Ride over Manali Leh road to reach Jispa and overnight stay at camp or hotel.

  Travel distance and travel time are 140 kms and 8 hrs approximately.

• Day 4 -

  Ride toward Sarchu

  After breakfast start riding toward Sarchu, cross Baralachala Pass (4800 m).

  Enroute visit two lakes, Deepak & Suraj Tal and cross many water streams.

  On arrival in Sarchu, check in at camp.

  Travel distance and travel time are 100 kms and 5 hrs approximately.

• Day 5 -

  Ride toward Leh

  Start riding toward Leh.

  Cross 22 Gata loops, 45 kms Pang ground and the second highest motor-able pass in the world, Tanglang La.

  On arrival check in at hotel/guest house.

  Travel distance and travel time are 253 kms and10 hrs approximately.

• Day 6 -

  Ride to Khardongla Pass

  Ride tor Khardongla Pass, world’s highest motor-able road at 18380 feet and it is 34 kilometers one way.

  Khardong La is historically very important as it lies on the major Silk route from Leh to Central Asia, about 10,000 horses and camels used to take the route annually.

  Return to Leh in the afternoon.

  Rest of day is free to visit Leh Palace and Magnetic Hill.

• Day 7 -

  Travel to Pangong Lake

  Start travelling early morning around 06 AM after breakfast toPangong Lake by sharing a car, also visit beautiful Pangong Lake and Three Idiots shooting point.

  Pangong Lake, is a beautiful lake in the Himalayas, it is situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft) and it is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet.

  The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers 604 km.

  By evening return back to Leh.

• Day 8 -

  Visit Tsomoriri

  Start riding toward the nomadic land of Ladakh, Tsomoriri, enjoy riding on the bank of Indus river,

  Tsomoriri lake is situated at an altitude of 14,836 ft and it is the largest of the high altitude lakes entirely within India.

  On arrival check in at camp and rest of the day is totally free to visit around beautiful Tsomoriri lake.

  Overnight stay at camp/hotel.

  Travel distance and travel time are 240 kms and 8 hrs approximately.

• Day 9 -

  Ride toward Sarchu

  After breakfast, start riding toward Sarchu.

  Enroute cross one of the most beautiful landscapes of Ladakh.

  See another beautiful lake and village of Tsokar.

  Reach Sarchu in the evening and check in at camp.

  Overnight stay will be at the camp.

  Travel distance and travel time are 200 kms and 8 hrs approximately.

• Day 10 -

  Back to Manali

  After breakfast, start riding back toward Manali.

  On arrival check in at hotel and it is the end of the bike trip.

  Travel distance and travel time are 222 kms and 8-9 hrs approximately.

• Day 11 -

  Manali to Delhi

  You are free to visit Manali on your own.

  In the evening get transferred to Manali Volvo stand to board Volvo bus for Delhi.

  Overnight journey in the Volvo bus.

• Day 12 -

  Arrive in Delhi

  Arrive Delhi in the morning around 05:00 AM and the tour ends there after 560 kilometers drive.
