People Also Ask About Tanzania

  1. Which are the best national parks to visit in Tanzania?

We bring you an array of must-visit national parks where you could relax, enjoy, and indulge at once-

    1. Serengeti National Park: Vast in size and well-known for its wildebeest migration and crocodile-infested Grumeti River, it is recommended to at least plan a four-day trip here. This duration is advised to cover most of the forest and expose oneself to all the wildlife.

    2. Tarangire National Park: Tarangire meaning the 'river of warthogs' is very famous amongst wildlife enthusiasts and is known for being home to elephants, birds, and baobab trees. The said elephants are almost 300 in numbers. The park belongs to the authentic and a virgin part of Africa.

    3. Ngorongoro Crater: This one is a highly visited safari attraction and has the world's largest inactive and unbroken volcanic caldera. It is a prominent place in Tanzania and should definitely be kept in mind.

    4. Lake Manyara National Park: What makes this amazing destination amazing is its diverse terrain as well as diversity of special plant and animal species. Bird watching here is a famous activity. All in all, the park provides an amazing wildlife expedition.

    5. Gombe Stream National Park: This park remains compact in its area, unlike others; but is popular worldwide because of it's deep connection to Jane Goodall's research regarding chimpanzees. One can expect the park to not be too crowded and spot chimpanzees around quite often.

    6. Katavi National Park: This park is likely to top a visitor's list for offering interesting wildlife experiences. Traveling to this park can be a difficult task but everything thereafter is easy enough. Here, one is assured to run into untouched wilderness unexpectedly with a very welcoming atmosphere.

    7. Mikumi National Park: Like Serengeti park, Mikumi is regarded to hold high diversity in the animal species. The park is popular for providing great picture ops and large herds of game animals.
  2. What are the different types of safaris we can do in Tanzania?

    1. Luxury Safaris: The Tanzania luxury safaris are for about 8 days, the maximum group size for a luxury safari is mostly 10 members. Some luxury tours Start from Lake Manyara and end in Arusha. Booking a Tanzania Luxury Safari includes accommodation, an expert guide, insurance, meals, transport and more.

    2. Lodge Safaris: Lodge safaris are for the people who wish to experience and explore Eastern Africa’s wilderness in comfort and ease. During the day, the tourist is supposed to be out in the bush exploring the wilderness and in the evenings they enjoy the amenities of the lodge or the camp.

    3. Family Safaris: Tanzania safari packages prove to be great family holidays programs. The fun and adventure involved is a delight to every member and thus safaris tend to make great memories for families that they can cherish forever.

    4. Horseback Safaris: What better way to wander in and around in the wild on a horse's back? Riding on a horse alongside a safari tour guide to pinpoint locations and animals.
  3. What is the best time to go on safari in Tanzania?

Tanzania wildlife safari is best done during the dry season which is from late June to October. It is also a great time as in these months, the wildebeest migrate to Serengeti. But if you wish to see the wildebeest calving then late January to February is the duration that should be taken into consideration.

During winters the temperature is moderate and the vegetation is less so the animals tend to come close to water holes, which make them easier to spot. Although, you should plan your trip around the time when the movement of the Great Migration starts taking place.
  4. Is Safari better in Kenya or in Tanzania?

If you are going along with your family, then Kenya is a more preferable place to visit as it has better travel infrastructure and gives more lodging and camping options. But if you are travelling with a budget then Tanzania wildlife safaris will prove out to be more affordable, though Tanzania also provides luxury safaris.

Both places have their uniqueness and give people a chance to explore the wildlife. In terms of safety and political stability, Tanzania is known to be better than Kenya.
  5. How to reach Tanzania?

Kilimanjaro Trek in Tanzania is a special and an unique experience that I am proud and happy about sharing. I remember reading about the famous Kilimanjaro in history and geography back in high school. I used to wonder what is so great about this place. While, I saw the images of this place, I realized what a beauty this place was. I since then have this place in my wishlist. I, however, did not find time or partner to go on this trek with. Finally when I did happen to take this trek, I was spell bound. This place is beyond words – Sheer Brilliance.

Kilimanjaro is beautiful. With a climate like that and a landscape like this, this place is a mini heaven. Truly this place is indeed incredible. We had a really lovely time here at the trek. It was interesting and enthralling. I personally loved the whole trekking experience. Not to mention, the beauty of the trek trails that are this old and this natural.

Kilimanjaro trek is one of the very lovely treks. This is also one of the oldest and quite natural trek trails. While, the trek was great, it was equally tiring. My knees are worn out from the trek. Only people with high trek experience can do this.

Kilimanjaro Trek in Tanzania was my dream since the time that Robot movie song came. Well, it may sound clichéd, but something about that song intrigued me and I was thinking of going to this place. I took this trek with my wife, and she says this is a very scary and a tough trek. However, I feel that this trek was quite uncomplicated, medium level difficult trek that is worth every penny and time spent.

Kilimanjaro Trek In Tanzania is one of its kind of a special trek that is such an old and beautiful trek. One can’t experience such a trek generally in other trek trails. Tanzania is by itself a beauty and this trek adds more grace to it. I enjoyed this trek totally and heartfully. Do try this trek. I highly and strongly suggest this.

My boyfriend and I being the adventurous lot who try a lot of adventurous activities wanted to try our hands at trekking. After some basic treks in and around Bangalore, we decided to take this trek and we were indeed successful. The trek was not very easy, but we did enjoy even those little thorns. After a point in the trek we could feel out legs, but somehow we overcame those and did end up finishing the trek. It was such a proud and happy moment for us.

Kilimanjaro trek was interesting and great. I had a great time with the trek here. I loved the whole experience. It was fun and interesting. We loved the whole vacation. The biggest plus about this trek is the awesome climate. It was super fun and super cool while taking trek in such a weather. Also, this trek, on the downside, drains one’s stamina as it is quite tedious despite it doesn’t look so. Therefore, being well equipped and fit is mandatory. Overall a must do trek.

Balagovind Mehra Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
Superb
The trekking experience was fine and brilliant. We had a nice experience. While the trek is definitely brilliant and great, what would have made it more great would be proper organization. The trek has a few issues too as this trek easily drains your energy if you haven’t got that much experience or brilliant stamina. Apart from that though, the trek is an all together brilliant and memorable experience to take with loved ones or even alone.
