Why To Visit Switzerland In July

July is the time of the year when the snow starts to thaw in Switzerland, even in the higher passes. This makes it the perfect time to go discovering the country as it allows you to hike in the remotest and most beautiful corners of Switzerland.

The daylight hours are also at their maximum in Switzerland in July, with seven to eight hours of sunlight on average. Longer days ensure that you can spend more time outdoors, discovering the different wonders the place has to offer.
