Sariska National Park

Bala Quila

One of the most majestic places to visit around Neemrana, the fort’s changing of hands amongst the Mughals, Pathans, Nikumbh Rajputs, and the Marathas, and has beautiful influences on its architecture.
The 5-kilometre long fort has 6 massive gates, almost 66 towers, latticed arches & ceilings, pillars made of marble, balconies with filigree, 446 musketry openings, and 8 citadels all carved and built in Indi-Islamic style. Don’t miss to see the Sagar Pond, Jal Mahal, and almost 15 temples inside the fort’s complex. Reachable after a short trek through lush green trails, the fort offers striking panoramic views of the Alwar city.
