Bangalore To Nandi Hills By Bus

The state bus Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) or BMCTC can be taken from Bangalore Majestic bus stand to Nandi hills. A distance of about 60 km needs to get covered to reach the destination. Apart from that, private buses can also be taken from here or near to the bus stand.
Kempegowda bus stand, also known as Majestic, is the beginning point where you get to board the bus. The first direct bus leaves at 8.30 AM after which some more depart from the stand whose details can be found out from the booking counters. One can reach at around 11 AM with this morning bus. If the direct bus has been missed, one can opt for connecting buses via Chikkaballapur.
It takes around 2 hours to cover the distance
between Bangalore and Nandi Hills by bus. The traveling expense by bus is quite cheap and
affordable. Around Rs.46 to Rs.50 has to be paid at the ticket counter to catch
a bus for Nandi hills from Bangalore Majestic. If one wishes to return the same day, 2.30 PM and 4.30
PM buses are also available at local Nandi Hills stand.

Bangalore To Nandi Hills By Car

Whether one takes a cab, own car or rents a taxi, they are surely going to immerse in beautiful weather all the way with scenic views that just mesmerize the eyes and soul. With few stopovers to click pictures and enjoy tea/coffee in between, one will be spellbound with a road trip, either solo or with a group of friends.
The route is about 62 km via Bellary road and one can reach easy in 1.5-2 hours, depending upon speed, traffic, and the number of stopovers.

Nandi Hills Timings

Interestingly, Nandi Hills entry timings are
marked at 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM every day. Moreover, it is advisable to reach
early on weekends due to traffic and expected heavy crowd. The good part is
that one gets to park their vehicles at designated places near Nandi Fort.
Whereas tempo travelers and buses do not get this space.
