This national park and biosphere reserve is one of the most interesting and beautiful places to visit in Tirupati known for its varied landscape and amazing attractions within it. Located in the Eastern Ghats region, the national park is spread over lush forested valleys. These forests have over 1500 exotic and native species of trees and plants like sandalwood, red sanders, Shorea talura, etc.
A haven for bird watchers, the national park houses rare species like yellow-throated bulbul, grey-fronted green pigeon, and the Oriental white-backed vulture. Besides this, the park also houses the Asiatic elephant, leopards, wild dogs, sambar, four-horned antelopes, Indian giant squirrel, tree shrew, etc. Other interesting residents include the gliding lizard, Indian golden gecko, and varieties of snakes. The place also has several scenic waterfalls like the Gunjana, Gundalakona, and Talakona falls that draw thousands of people every year.

Best Time to Visit: Winters (November-February).
