The Mauritius National Botanical Garden is one of the most interesting and enriching places to visit in Port Louis. Spread over a sprawling lush green landscape, this magnificent garden houses 85 varieties of palms from Central America and from the adjacent islands of Indian Ocean.

The Blue Penny Museum
The Blue Penny Museum is a must inclusion in your list of Port Louis Sightseeing spots. This museum was inaugurated in 2001 and it is one of the most historically significant museums exhibiting the cultural diversity of the island.

It exhibits the three main colonial rules in the history of Mauritius via incredible layouts, as well as the rare, red-coloured one penny and the blue-coloured two-penny ’Post Office Stamps’, which was issued in 1847. The stamps are lit up at regular intervals to make sure the colours do not fade away.

Citadel Fort
Citadel fort is also popularly known as Adelaide Fort which was named after the wife of William II. The port was named when British held land in captivity in Port Louis and it is one of the best places for Port Louis Sightseeing..
