Kanavashram

Popular as the birthplace of Bharat and Siddh Peeth of sage Kanva, Kanavashram is cradled on the banks of river Malini and is surrounded by dense forests and hills. Apart from this, this 5500 years old ashram also holds a significance for being the gateway to Puri.

Bhim Pakora

Situated in Dhura, around 2 Km away from Gandhi Chowk, this site is popular as it has many mythological tales linked to it. It is said that during the period of exile, Pandavas took a halt at this place and cooked food. It is also a popular tale that Bhim placed a rock above another in a way that it can never topple.

St Johns Church

War Memorial Lansdowne

The establishment of War Memorial dates back to 1923 when the then Commander in Chief of India, Lord Rawlinson laid its foundation. The museum was founded to mark the achievements of Garhwal Regiments. The war memorial is situated at the Parade Ground and forms the major attraction for tourists as well as natives.
