Gobabis

Gobabis is a settlement in the eastern Namibia which is also the regional capital of Omaheke Region and the district capital of Gobabis Electoral constituency. The city is situated about 200 km down the B6 Motorway from the city of Windhoek to the city of Botswana.

Gobabis is a beautiful city that takes you deep into the wilderness of Namibia through its conservation reserves and game farms. You will be able to spot lush forest patches and some rare and endangered species.

Gobabis houses some of the best attractions of Namibia such as Harnas Wildlife Foundation which was established to protect life through responsible and effective management and Zelda Guest and Game Farm where you travel deep into the wilderness of Namibia.

Gobabis is located at an elevation of 1446 meter above the sea level with influence of the local steppe climate. This place receives very little rainfall all through the year.. The average annual temperature is recorded at 20.6 degree celsius and the rainfall is recorded 429 mm per year.
