4. Old Dutch Hospital: 
The Galle Fort is a 19th-century fort in the city of Galle, Sri Lanka which is one of the best places to add to your Galle tour Package. It was built by the Dutch in 1663, and is considered one of the most important historical monuments in the country. In 1981, the Galle Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In 1505 when Portuguese arrived in Galle there were few to no buildings on site when they first saw and visited this fishing village and thatched houses were built around the 1560s and this became an important trade hub for spices and other products from Asia. The Portuguese began their rule over this part of the country after King Dampier surrendered to them on 25th February 1658 at Colombo plains with its capital at Colombo.

8. Galle Harbour:

9. Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya: 
Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya was built by King Kirti Sri Rajasinha in 1848. It was a centre for Sinhala Buddhists and is the only surviving Buddhist temple of the Galle District. The temple houses three Buddha images of different sizes, which according to historians, were brought from India by an Indian monk about 400 years ago.
