10. Explore Ella Town: It takes no more than a day to explore all of Ella town, and is a must include in every Ella trip package for any traveller desiring to explore the local culture of the place. By Train: The best way to reach Ella would be by train. While the train ride from Kandy to Ella is one of the most beautiful ones in the world, one can even catch direct trains from Colombo and other cities in Sri Lanka.
By Road: Ella is well connected to all cities by road. While travelling by Taxi is always an option, there are regular buses that ply between Ella and Kandy as well.
