You reach an elevation of 2005 meters on this walk passing through Jharipani’s colonial-era buildings, and dense mixed jungles. Five steep, twisting inclines known locally as "paanch kainchi" mark the beginning of the climb into Jharipani settlement. Then the walk winds alongside a thick mixed forest where you can see birds like Himalayan Bulbul, Brown-Headed Barbet, Red Junglefowl, and Jungle Babbler.
