Bijapur

One of the most commercially important cities of Karnataka is Bijapur. But it is also a very famous tourist destination for some historical monuments and structures. The place was known to be made by the Kalyani Chalukyas in the 11th century. Bijapur is also known for having some of the best ancient histories of Karnataka. This place is often called the Agra of South India for having some of the very famous and wonderful structures in the city. 

Bijapur is very famous for having one of the top attractions of Karnataka, which is Gol Gumbaj. This city is also called the city with Gol Gumbaj, and many tourists visit every year to witness this beauty. Some of the other attractions of Bijapur include Ibrahim Rauza, Jumma Masjid, Bijapur Fort, Gagan Mahal, Bara Kaman, The Citadel, and many more. 

The place is filled with history and monuments and it is perfect for  fun activities such as picnics, bonfires with friends and loved ones and many more. Visit from October to February to enjoy the place best with pleasant and comfortable weather to keep you company. Monsoon and summers are not ideal times to visit as rain may dampen your trip while in the summer the heat may get to you.
