Bali botanical garden is located in Candikuning region of Bedugul. Spread across 160 hectares, it has a huge coverage of trees and plants. The information center in the garden provides you with an informational pamphlet to keep you on track. Tourists interested in different varieties of plants and trees could easily spend the whole day in the garden. Also, it has a library and gift shop frequented by tourists. This is an important place to see here.

Jatiluwih is a beautiful area with rich vegetation and terraced rice paddies nestled in the mountain range of Batukaru. For trek lovers, Batukaru mountain ranges is a perfect place to explore adventurous and wild side. It was also nominated as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2007.

Munduk waterfall is located about 1 km west of the crowdy Munduk market. Surrounded by rich greenery, it is an impressive waterfall and looks the best in rainy season. Very few know about it despite of it being the most magnificent fall on the whole island. Indeed, the best place to enjoy great sightseeing views.  

Also called as Lake Bratan Temple, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan was built in the year 1633. It is devoted to Ida Batara Dewi Ulun Danu, the goddess of lake. Bratan temple is on the western shore of the lake Bratan that gives an illusion of floating water. It is one of the most photographed and iconic temple in the island. Often, photographers from all over the world travel to Bratan temple to click beautiful pictures of it.

Sekumpul waterfall is located in north Bedugul. This is one of the most amazing hidden waterfalls in the island. It is the combination of seven waterfalls different waterfalls and the view is just spectacular.

Bedugul Traditional Fruits and Vegetables Market is located next to big corn statue in the direction to the Bedugul botanical garden and lake Bratan. While on holiday, one must also look after fitness by minimizing indulgence in fast food and eating fresh fruits and vegetables. This traditional market is filled with sub-tropical vegetables that grow only in cool and fresh climate like Bedugul. The market is quite rich in fruits like Papaya, Banana, Rambutan, Mangosteen, Strawberry and much more. It also has a variety of spices including cloves, nutmeg, pepper, and turmeric. Bedugul market offers various types orchids, foliage plants, roses, hibiscus, and begonias too which are ornamental plants.

This beautiful Country Club is at an altitude of 1,142 meters and is surrounded by green mountains, a crater lake, and an ancient forest. Bali Handara Kosaido Golf and Country Club was designed by Peter Thompson and it is considered to be one of the best golf course in Asia.

Git waterfall is the highest waterfall in Bali situated 70 km north of Kuta and 10 km south of Singaraja. One of the most magnificent places to see, it also has shops selling traditional Bali goods nearby. Shopping for souvenirs can be an ideal thing to do here.

The lush forests which envelope the northern Bedugul is a home to the most magnificent waterfalls on the complete island. The Mundul waterfall here lies in a valley that takes about a full day to descend. So, if you want to try out some adventure activities in the island, then canyoning is definitely a must try activity. How would it be like to abseil over a waterfall height of 400 meters. Besides, you can also swim at the waterfalls. These are definitely the two of the most important activities that you can experience in your day trip here. To do this activity, you need a reasonable degree of fitness.

 Bedugal area of Bali is a home to 3 of the top 5 highest volcanoes of Bali. Because of this, there are a number of easy to gruel hikes that you can undertake here. You can take a Jatiluwih rice field trek which is definitely the most popular one here. Besides this, there are several other hikes that can be undertaken to explore the thick jungle up to the peaks of the mountain. The high 2096 meter peak, Gunung Catur is definitely one peak that towers the Bedugul area. It is definitely a hike that you cannot miss in Bali. This path is steep and only gets steeper with every step however, you’ll need to carry with you ample water to undertake this hike. The heat from the jungle is unbearable.  However, the views from the top are worth all the hard work. You can book a guided tour or take a self guided tour to explore the hikes here.

Located south of the Bedugul is the Ghost palace hotel. This lies on the main highway which leads you to the south of the island. Due to the financial troubles from the owner, this place was majorly abandoned for over a decade. However, you can sneakily enter the building by paying 5000 rupiah to the care takers who’ll help you sneak in. This definitely is a must visit place in Bedugul. Here you’ll get to see how majestic and alluring these abandoned buildings look like. Before you go there, keep a torch in your back pack as it maybe needed in few places here.  

Enjoy golfing? Well, you are just at the right place to practice your love and passion for golf. In Bedugul, you can head to the Handara Golf and Resort Bali. They are not just known for their entry gates but also for their golf course. Lying a km away from the Botanical Gardens, here you can find several locals who come here to take a photo at the gate of the resort. It is listed as the best golf course of Asia and is also in the list of the Top 50 golf courses of the world. During your stay in Bedugul, this definitely is an important place to see.

Bedugul offers an array of opportunities for those who enjoy water sports such as jet skiing or parasailing. Other water sports too can be enjoyed on the southern shore of Lake Bratan. You an also rent a boat and enjoy rowing a boat here. For the locals, Bedugul is also a nice choice for a myriad of outbound activities such as flying fox and strawberry picking.

From the tree top, you can view the surrounding area from a whole new angle. In this treetop adventure, there is a choice of 7 circuits of the varying difficulties. So, you have a choice to know where to start and fine tune your skills. There will be 72 obstacles that you’ll have to cross in the middle of it. Starting at a height of 2 meters, the height in the circuit goes to as high as 20 meters. Take care of the safety gear when you go up there.
