Adichunchanagiri
Adichunchanagiri is located in an altitude varying between 770m to 1000m. The sanctuary protects the peacocks and several other fauna. The flora is diverse and the birds species are something to look out for.
For bird watchers, sighting some of the rare species like the yellow-throated bulbul is a delight. The entry fee is a negligible Rs 15 for Indian tourists and Rs 50 for foreign tourists. To make your experience complete, there is also facility for safaris organised by forest department.

Other than the peacock sanctuary, Adichunchanagiri is dotted with temples. Even for the adventure lovers, this place is pretty interesting.
