Balmuri

Balmuri is located on the Mysore-Bangalore highway, just 15-20 kms from Mysore. They are on the way to the KRS falls. All one needs to do is Balmuri falls is on the way to KRS dam around 15 - 20 km from Mysore. Follow the sign boards to reach there. Also, one can take right diversion on the Bangalore - Mysore highway after Srirangapatna. While on the road one can catch glimpses of small waterfalls. Students and nature loves adore the place because of its isolated locating and purity of the nation. On the way is also A Ganesh temple is also situated on the way to Balmuri. The falls main attraction is Ranganthittu Sanctuary which is lush green and densely forested. One can bathe in the shallow waters of the fall.
