By Ferry- Visitors can take public ferry services that depart from Circular Quay Wharf 5 every half an hour to Darling Harbor. From there, you can take a walk to the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
By Train- WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is located at a very close distance from the Town Hall Station and Wynyard Station. You can take a train from anywhere in the country to these train stations and then reach King Street from Wynyard or Market Street from Town Hall towards Darling Harbor. Alternatively, you can take the light train from the Convention Center or Pyrmont Bay stations.
By Bus- To reach WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, you can go to Sydney Explorer Bus Stop No. 24 or take any bus service that will drop you near King Street or Market Street and then take a short walk to Darling Harbor.
By Taxi- If you are traveling to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo in a taxi, you can ask the driver to drop you at King Street Wharf or the back of Cockle Bay Wharf.

Tricky Tongues and Treetops are the brand new zone of WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo that houses Kofi the Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo, Frankie the rescued Numbat from WA, and the Echidnas. The rescued numbat Frankie acts as a significant ambassador that raises awareness about their endangered species in the wild. His other friends, tree kangaroos, and the echidnas are also the center of attraction of the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
In the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, Devil’s Den is a sheltered area for the Tasmanian Devils named Dharra, Bluey, Nara, and Mirrin. In this zone, the ‘Den’ signifies the underground burrows that are situated in dense vegetation, caves, or thick grass. These species are predators that regulate the food chain and scavengers that remove dead animals from the landscape, but they are critically endangered. Wallaby Cliffs in the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo offers shelter to some of the determined Australian animals, which includes a bare-nosed wombat named Ringo and yellow-footed rock wallabies. Although these creatures have been kept in the zoo to raise awareness, it continues to move around the zoo to meet their adoring fans. People admire the wallabies' speed of traveling at a rate of 40 kilometers per hour.
If you want to experience the animals in the zoo closely, Daintree Rainforest is the best place. It is the replica of the beautiful Daintree rainforest in Queensland that provides shelter to the family of Pademelons, Satin Bowerbird, Princess the Southern Cassowary, and much more. On your visit to this zone, you can watch the high-maintenance Princess the Southern Cassowary having showers to cool them during summer. The Platypus Pool belongs to the smallest mammal order in the world, the monotremes, and the echidna. This zone allows you to learn captivating facts about how the platypus lays eggs, their feeding behaviors, and what makes them incredibly unique. If you find it difficult to spot this tiniest creature, you must see them resting among the logs and branches in the water. When it was first discovered, scientists regarded it as a hoax as it has a duck-like bill, fur like an otter, a beaver-like tail, webbed feet, and it lays eggs.
In the Nightfall, you will discover the nocturnal animals that venture out after dark. Bilbies and Sugar Gliders are some of the habitats featured in this zone in the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. This area of the zoo provides an immersive experience to the guests as they can witness these animals in the daytime. Biblies in this zone are the lesser-known species yet the largest of the bandicoot family, which have been largely endangered due to the introduced predators like cats and foxes.
