WHALE BEACH

Whale Beach is the perfect destination for family and adventure sports enthusiasts. The rough waters of the beach are perfect for surfers while the calm waters of the rock pool on the northern end of the beach is perfect for swimming around with kids. The Beach has a wonderful stretch of rose gold sand and it is wedged between two rocky headlands. The beach is also surrounded by restaurants and cafes that offer a diverse variety of meals and beverages.

Whale Beach Sydney is an East facing beach approximately 600 M long and it is 40 km from the Central Business District. On the southern end there is a rock pool that has sand at the bottom making you feel like you are swimming in the ocean itself. This beautiful rock pool is perfect for families with small children. 

This is primarily a surfer's beach ideal for experienced as well as amateur surfers. The waves created by the wedge between the two rocky headlands are great for surfing. There is a large reserve between the Beach and the road with lush green pine trees providing respite to the beach goers looking for some shade.

For those traveling with kids there is a nice playground with slides, swing, sandplay, shaded picnic tables and barbecue facilities. On the southern side of the rock pool there is a large flat rock on which you can roll out your towel and just relax or get a tan. To complete the perfect beach experience, there are several cafes and restaurants near Whale Beach.
