About Valara Falls

Deviyar River is the source of many waterfalls in the region some of which is Valara falls and Cheeyapara falls. However, you cannot access the waterfall; one has to view it from the roadside as it is even visible from the NH.

The thick forest cover and the slanting rocky slopes of the hills create a canvas of beauty together and are one of the few places to visit in Munnar which can add some awe-striking pictures to your Munnar diary. It is suggested that you take a tour of this waterfall on your return trip from Munnar as it will fall on the same side of the road.
