Tudor House Museum Overview

A 16th century house turned museum which is dedicated to document the lost stories of the residents of the streets of Worcester. It represents the forgotten architecture from the old street which has either been undermined in present days due to the big mansions and villas or has been demolished in the drive of beautifying the city.

Tudor House Museum is the preservation of a beautiful 16th century house which has been turned into a museum in a bid to introduce the visitors to the ambience of the period. It’s a special house as well as one of the several special places to visit in Worcester which is full of various unique architectural features as well as some few interesting stories. You can recognize the house with its dark brown wooden walls with really large windows and immaculate carvings on the gate entrance. It's the oldest house on the aged and prettiest street of Worcester.

Inside the house is documented the lifestyle of the inhabitants of the 16th century, by looking at the different utility objects on display in the house you’d learn about the trends and the prevalent style back then. The guides would take you around the house and introduce you to other stories of ball, social gatherings and events which used to take place back in time.

Timings- The operational timings of the church are 10 AM to 4 PM from Wednesday to Saturday, but it’s closed between Sunday to Tuesday.
