Tudor Garden is a traditional garden that boasts mythical creatures and an exotic knot garden. The garden is seated alongside the Waikato river that showcases geometric patterns which symbolise double meanings. The garden is inspired by the drawings of Didymus Mountain whose pen name was Thomas Hill.
It is encircled by legendary monsters, an arbor, an Elizabethan divider, and a stone pavilion based on the structure at Montacute House. The garden provides an extravagant outside setting to dream plays or 'masques'.
