How To Reach

1. By Car/shared taxi: You can embark on the Gangtok - Nathu La highway from the Gangtok city centre. Drive for approximately 38 kilometres, and it can take you around 1.5 hours to reach Tsomgo Lake. Alternatively, you can opt for a shared taxi from Gangtok city centre. Head to the taxi stand and board a vehicle bound for Tsomgo Lake. The journey typically takes around 2 hours and covers the same distance as the car route.

2. By Bus: For budget travellers, public buses ply regularly between Gangtok and Tsomgo Lake. You can catch a bus from the Gangtok Bus Terminal, and the journey can take you about 2.5 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.

Best Time To Visit
