TIMES SQUARE

Located at Broadway, 7th Avenue cornered by 42nd and 47th Streets, Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment hub, and one of the major New York City attractions. Dating back to the 1880s, its original name was Long Acre Square. However, the mayor of New York renamed it Times Square, in 1904, after the popular daily The New York Times took up residence in the building. 

Unlike other tourist destinations in New York, Times Square is a mighty place that is extremely popular within the native city people, tourists, and people all over the world. You might have visited this place virtually in music videos or movies, but its grandeur is only realized when you stand face to face.

Times Square has always been regarded as a commercial intersection, between Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The area is kindled with unending billboards and advertisements. Being one of the top tourist attractions in New York, Times Square has been winning hearts with over 50 million people visiting here annually.
