Tibetan Refugee Center is a famous rehabilitation Centre for Tibetan refugees in Darjeeling, West Bengal. It was established on 2 October 1959 with only 4 workers, and now it accommodates more than 650 people. The refugee centre has a gompa (Tibetan Buddhist monastery), a school, an orphanage, a clinic, and a home for the elderly.
