The Swansea Museum is one of the best places to go in Swansea if you love learning history. The Museum is known to have an amazing collection depicting the history of Swansea with artifacts from the past. You can look at many sections such as Boats and ships on display, Egyptian artifacts, Nautical objects, wartime Swansea and many more.

The Swansea Museum is also home to many exhibitions throughout the year and is one of the best tourist places to visit in Swansea. One of the popular exhibitions is "A very natural history" which illustrates a natural history collected such as dried plants, pressed shrews, and also flora and fauna. You can look at many Egyptian and Greek artifacts which were donated many years ago to the Royal Institute of South Wales. You can look at objects such as the mummy, ibis amulet, and also a sepulchral figure.

The Museum also has a collection of many vehicles such as boats, steam rollers, delivery lorry, Helwick, The Willian Gammon lifeboat, and many others. There is also an interesting collection of nautical pasts of Swansea such as the Armillary sphere, Chronometer, and also feather postcard. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 AM - 4.30 PM for visitors.
