World Heritage Site by UNESCO Himachal Pradesh is home to the Great Himalayan National Park. How To Reach

By Road: Aut, 30 kilometres from Kullu, leads to GHNP. Before Mandi, a road exits from the Manali motorway at Aut, leading to the park. 4 kilometres from Aut to Largi. The park prohibits mule and horse entry, so you must walk.

By Air: Great Himalayan National Park's nearest airport is Bhuntar, Kullu; about 60 km away. Delhi flights frequent this airport.

By Rail: Joginder Nagar, in Mandi, is the closest train station to Great Himalayan National Park—distance: 143 kilometres. There are several frequent trains between Joginder Nagar and Chandigarh.

Best Time To Visit

Year-round Opening: Tourists can visit the Great Himalayan National Park year-round. Each season has unique charms and activities.

Best Season: March–June and mid-September–November are the best park seasons. These months have good weather and healthy plants and animals.

Best Day: Visit during the week for a calmer and more delightful natural time with fewer people.
