TANSA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

One of the best tourist places in Thane for nature lovers, the Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary thrives in its beautiful flourishing forests. The sanctuary is inhabited by over 200 bird species and several little animals, making it a haven for photographers and bird watchers alike.

The sanctuary has a well-defined nature trail, which is pretty popular among jungle trekkers. The biggest attraction at the sanctuary is the spectacular Tansa Lake, which apart from its own quiet charm, also acts as a water hole for the several animals here, making it the best wildlife spotting location.
