How To Reach

By Train - Taman Negara national park is accessible by train. The Jerantut railway station is nearest to the park and the KTM Intercity as well as the Express trains would take you to your destination.

By Bus - Tourists can also access this place by taking a bus to Jerantut and Kuala Tembeling Jetty, however, they will then have to take a river boat ride to Kuala Tahan from here. This all together, will be a journey of 7-8 hours, hence it isn’t highly recommended.

Best Time To Visit

Taman Negara is open 365 days a year. However, it is recommended that you visit the national park in the spring months of March and April when it drizzles. It marks the beginning of the mating season, hence the inhabitants come out of their shelters.
