STADIUM OF DELPHI

The Stadium of Delphi, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Greece, is a striking ancient structure dating back to the 5th century BC. Renowned for hosting the Pythian Games, a precursor to the modern Olympic Games, this historic stadium exemplifies the grandeur of ancient Greek architecture and athletics. 

With a capacity of approximately 6,500 spectators, the stadium features a U-shaped design with limestone seating and a track measuring around 177.5 meters in length. It underwent significant renovations in the 2nd century AD under the Roman Emperor Hadrian.
