SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

One of the most famous places to visit in Zambia is the South Luangwa National Park. It is known locally as the “South Park” and it is considered one of the greatest and most well-maintained wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

The vast expanse of the park, covering an area of 9059 square kms, is home to several beautiful birds and animals such as Thirnicroft’s giraffe, hippos, crocodiles, elephants, zebras, buffaloes and more.
