About Shubra Palace Taif

Its design was inspired by one of the beautiful palaces erected in the Shubra district at the time. The palace is widely distinguished by its urban style, and it has a mixture of Roman and Islamic styles with traditional architecture.
The Islamic architecture's characteristics are evident in the palace's columns, Rawasheen, arches, doors, ceilings, and windows. It includes about one hundred and fifty rooms and has two huge entrances: the main entrance and a side entrance. During King Faisal's reign, it became the Ministry of Defense and Aviation headquarter, then turned into a museum of heritage and antiquities in 1408 AH.
