About Shedd Aquarium
Opened in 1930, Shedd Aquarium is an indoor public aquarium that holds about 32000 animals. It was the first inland aquarium that has a permanent collection of saltwater fish. Its collection includes 1500 species of marine animals, fishes, snakes, amphibians, birds, and insects.
You can enjoy the permanent exhibits of the aquarium namely the Caribbean Reef, Waters of the Worlds, Amazon Rising, Abbott Oceanarium, and the Wild Reef. You can also enjoy the One World aquatic show and the 4D Theatre. The Underwater Beauty is currently the most special exhibit of the aquarium that shows the beautiful sea life.
