The Sea Point is one of Cape Town’s most dynamic and accessible suburbs. It backs onto the Signal Hill and lies in the vicinity of the City Centre. The pretty as a picture pedestrian-only promenade here, is the prime draw that lies along the Atlantic Seaboard.

It is home to an extensive variety of hotels, bars, and restaurants. However, the scenic beauty of the place adds to its true charm. The fairly rough and rocky shoreline may not double up as a swimming destination but you can definitely cool off by taking a dip in the Tidal Pool of Saunders Rock.

Take a walk at sunrise, or shop for local wines and organic veggies in the Artem Center here. Also, if you are a thrift shopping enthusiast, then at the Bargains Galore you are bound to find many hidden gems. When at Sea Point, beat the warm summers with some lovely salted caramel or chocolate peanut butter ice-cream.
