Scottish National Gallery is known to be one of the best Edinburgh tourist places where you can witness international and Scottish art collections. It houses Scotland's best collection of fine art from the end of the nineteenth century to the early Renaissance.
The Gallery is housed in a neo-classical building designed by Henry Playfair and has over 92,000 artworks. It has an intriguing collection of more than six thousand paintings, installations, video work, sculptures, prints, and drawings.
