The trek is a combination of moderate and difficult levels and the view from the top is breath-taking especially of Manchinbele Dam and the overlooking valley. It is considered to be one of the largest rock formations in entire Asia and it has two main hill points Billigudda which are said to be the white hill and Karigudda which is a Black hill.
The meandering curves of Akravati river and the perennial lotus ponds are two major water attractions which are seen from atop the hill. Situated at a height of 4022 feet above sea level, Savandurga has ample of opportunities for conducting an easy trekking and rock climbing expeditions.
