Another main attraction and a popular spot in the city of Satara, in Maharashtra. There are many forts in the city, but this is one such well-known fort counted along with Ajinkyatara fort. This Satara fort was created and constructed by Raja Bhoj, during the Shikhar Rules and Dynasty.
Later, in the year 1673, the fort was completely captured and acquired by Chhatrapati Shivaji and later in the year 1700, Aurangzeb got hold of Satara fort.
