SANTA MARIA GLORIOSA DEI FRARI

Though it took nearly a hundred years to get in shape, Santa Maria Gloriosa Dei Frari is indeed the most impressive church and one of the valued Venice Tourist Places. The exterior of the church is extremely plain and yet tasteful, which contrasts with the super majestic interiors it possesses.

The church is built in Italian Gothic architecture style with a life-size facade on its outer. In fact, the insides of the church are also unique with a large central nave, double aisles and seven apsidal chapels. Unlike the Italian design of the outsides, the insides of the church possess Franciscan-Gothic Style which came into existence while its re-modelling.
