Located in the Vizhinjam village this is an 18th-century cave temple which has unfinished sculptures of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. The rock-cut cave temple is one of the best places to visit in Kovalam and now comes under the supervision of the archaeological survey of India. The temple is very near the Kovalam beach and is located at a distance of 17 kms from Trivandrum. This is also one of the smallest rock shrines in the entire south of India.
