Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple Overview

Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple is also a famous name among the other urban temples which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is spread across an area of 5 acres at Jayanagar 9th block. 

The temple is situated on a hillock and is believed to be originated out of a Ragi mound. Every year, a grand celebration and a fair are conducted during Hanuman Jayanti when the temple brims with flowers and colors and is lit ablaze. 

The temple has a huge idol of Lord Hanuman in the center accompanied with idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman on the right to the sanctum and a Shiva lingam on the left.  

For old age and physically challenged people, the temple is facilitated with a lift service that charges 10 per person to take to the main temple.

Best Time to Visit: Evening aarti ritual.

Price: No entrance fee is charged
