Also known in the Māori name of Te Tapu-nui, Queenstown Hill is actually a small mountain that rises about 907 meters above mean sea level. Te Tapu-Nui translates to "mountain of intense sacredness" in English. The hill is particularly famous for the ecstatic views atop and the Queenstown Hill Time Walk is the most common activity here.
The walk for about 2 hours takes you through dense pine forests to the summit. It is a great idea to carry your food and snacks to munch on during the walk.
