The pyramid’s base part is built of cement, whereas its body is made of steel. A total of 40,000 tiles of cement have been positioned on the steel frame, forming a stunning mural that manifests the 4 basic elements – air, water, fire, and earth

The south face signifies fire, the north signifies air, the east signifies water, and the west signifies earth. The whole space within this huge pyramid signifies the 5th element.

How To Reach

From Bangalore Airport - 

Pyramid Valley is located at an approximate distance of around 80 kilometers from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. Once you land at the airport, you can easily take a local taxi and reach the valley in no more than 2 hours 35 minutes. The taxi ride from the airport to the valley will cost you around INR 1800.

Tourists can also take a local bus from the airport to the valley to reach the place at a cheaper price.

Best Time To Visit

Pyramid Valley looks amazingly beautiful throughout the year and can be visited at any time. Tourists also prefer visiting the place during the winter months of October to February as the weather remains amazingly pleasant during this time. 

You can also visit Pyramid Valley in the summer months of March to May as the city is not very hot even in the summers. However, it is advisable for travelers to avoid visiting the place during the rainy season (June to September) as it receives heavy rainfall during this time. 

Many travelers also visit the place on Buddha Jayanti, in the month of May.

1. Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple: Located at a distance of around 8.8 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple is known for its unique architecture. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this old cave temple’s specialty is that on Makar Sankranti, the rays of the sun fall on the temple’s Shivalinga directly. This mesmerizing sight propels devotees from all over the country on this particular day.    

2. Dodda Ganapathi Temple: Situated at a distance of about 8.6 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Dodda Ganapathi Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The major attraction of this old temple is the huge monolithic Ganesha statue sheltered by it. 

Dodda Ganapathi Temple is open for visiting from 6.30 AM to 1 PM and 4.30 PM to 8 PM, throughout the week. 

3. St. Mark’s Cathedral: Located at a distance of around 8.7 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, St. Mark’s Cathedral happens to be an iconic landmark of Bengaluru. Established around 200 years ago, this old structure is preserved beautifully with elegant stained glasses.

The cathedral is visited by many devotees and experience seekers, who come here to seek the blessings of the almighty and admire the architecture of the structure. 

4. Bannerghatta National Park: Situated at a distance of about 7.7 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Bannerghatta National Park serves as a habitat for tigers, lions, and bears.

The lush green park offers visitors the opportunity to experience jeep safari and interact closely with wild animals.
